iBeacon Bluetooth beacons, also known as Bluetooth smart cards, are broadcasting protocols based on low-power Bluetooth (BLE). Bluetooth positioning methods can be classified into network-side positioning and terminal-side positioning. The network-side positioning system consists of terminals (Bluetooth beacons), Bluetooth gateways, LAN, and backend data servers. By using the parameters set in the Bluetooth cards, the hospital system can accurately locate the patients. 2. Disease prevention and control: For patients with infectious risks, Bluetooth cards send information to the system, alerting doctors and nurses. When patients leave the controlled area or are about to enter a public area, the system automatically issues warnings, allowing medical professionals to take appropriate measures promptly to effectively control the spread of diseases.
3. Emergency call function: When patients press the buttons on Bluetooth cards, sensors receive the signal and send alerts, notifying the nearest service station for immediate assistance from nurses. This is beneficial for patients in emergencies or when they need help, as it shortens response time, improves nursing efficiency, and ensures patient safety.
4. Health insurance payment: Bluetooth cards can be connected to the health insurance system, allowing for medical expense payments. When patients receive medical treatment for the first time, the hospital binds their information to the Bluetooth cards and provides the cards to the patients. The Bluetooth cards can then be used for subsequent medical expense payments, enhancing convenience and security in payment processes.
5. Identity recognition: Bluetooth cards can connect with the hospital access control system and, through the identity information stored in the cards, authenticate the cardholders (doctors, nurses, patients, caregivers, etc.). This ensures that only individuals with appropriate permissions can access specific areas, improving security and management efficiency.
Furthermore, Bluetooth cards possess features such as IP67 dust and water resistance, weak power reminders, and long battery life, making them convenient for both patients and hospital management. Short-term hospitalized patients need not pay much attention to battery life, while long-term hospitalized patients can hand over the Bluetooth cards to nurses for recharging or replacement after receiving weak power reminders. The intelligent features of Bluetooth cards provide hospitals with more efficient management and patient care, making significant contributions to improving the quality and safety of healthcare services.
